Side Game Winners for June 8th

With a good turnout on a tournament day, there was some very good golf played by a number of players. The best gross score was turned in by Jake Vieth with his 69, but the top net round that cashed was turned in by Al Nagac. Al, a 12 handicap (for now at least), has found his game again and shot a very good 75 for net 63 and the low net skin. Just one stroke back of that great round was his cart partner David Oshiro who shot a net 64, followed by Lou Casselle and Pete Biscan with net 65s. None of those runners-up came away with anything to show for their efforts. But Al was not the big winner on the day. With only two additional skins won, the big winners were Bernie Rembecky with his CP on #7 where he rolled in the putt for a net eagle and a skin, and Travis Colgan who won his CP on #16 but also captured a skin with a net eagle on #14. There were quite a few unlucky players with net eagles being pushed on five different holes. Those holes started right away with Vince Pertusati and Jaime Castaneda making birdie for net eagle on #1, followed by David Oshiro, Larry Cobb, and Luis Alva on #8, Lou Casselle, Al Nagac, and Vince Pertusati on #9, Al Nagac and Kevin Lightell on #12, and Al Nagac, Larry Cobb, and Freddy Valencia on #17.

Congratulations to all who cashed this week!
