Side Game Winners for July 20th
When
we have a smaller group, there are more players who get to share in the payouts
with more skins cashing, but those payouts are much less than with a regular
sized group. And that was the story on this very warm Saturday. The big winner
for the week was Bill Barry who evidently had his iron game on fire. Bill won
three of the four CPs on the day and added a skin with a net birdie on #1. The
low net on the day was captured by Al Nagac, a 9 handicapper, who shot a gross
76 for net 67 and the skin. Al also added a skin to go with his low net when he
rolled in a putt on #17 for birdie, net eagle. Other net eagles winning skins
on the day were made by Max Robertson on #2, Randy Robertson on #5, and Kevin
Maust on #6. In another rarity that occurs with a smaller group, there were no
unlucky net eagles that failed to win skins.
