Game for June 28th
It was so nice that what proved to be the
warmest day thus far this summer that it also was the slowest round in quite a
while with the other tournament going on. The big winner for the week was Andy
Banchieri. Andy captured the CP on #4 and rolled in the putt for a birdie, net
eagle, and a skin then followed that up with another CP on #7. Three players
pushed the low net skin with net 68s. They were John Hennes, Kevin Hobbs, and
Andre Louviere. It is always unfortunate when good rounds on a day like
yesterday was failed to get rewarded. The other net eagles winning skins on the
day were made by Andre Louviere on #3 and Jason Sgrignoli on #12. There were
four holes where net eagles got pushed this week. Those unlucky players were
Kent Gurney, Matt Smith, and Kevin Hobbs on #8; Al Nagac and John Hennes on
#10; John Betance and Greg Shaw on #17; and Bruce Wilder, Juan Moreno, and
Vince Cofield on #18.
